City Delivery Driver – Class 5 (Indefinite term)
Sofina Foods Inc. is seeking a dependable City Delivery Driver – Class 5 to join our Distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for completing safe, timely, and accurate deliveries while providing excellent customer service and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Drivers are responsible for completing all required documentation, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, and operating company vehicles in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. A strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service is essential.
This position requires flexibility and dependability to meet operational and customer delivery requirements. The usual start time is 6:00 a.m., with schedules varying based on operational needs.
Duties
· Safely complete scheduled city deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
· Perform and document pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
· Operate company vehicles in accordance with all company policies and transportation regulations.
· Ensure all delivery documentation is completed accurately and legibly.
· Load, transport, and deliver products while maintaining product quality.
· Provide professional customer service and maintain positive customer relationships.
· Promote and maintain a safe work environment at all times.
· Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
· Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a current, clean driver's abstract.
· Previous hauling or transportation experience is considered an asset.
· Knowledge of Winnipeg city streets and geography is considered an asset.
· Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 40 kg.
· Ability to read and write English proficiently and complete required documentation clearly and accurately.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to maintain positive customer relationships.
· Proven safe work record and driving history.
· Reliable, conscientious, and punctual.
