Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated HVAC Helper to assist experienced technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Responsibilities
- Assist HVAC technicians with installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Support in the assembly and disassembly of units using schematics and technical diagrams.
- Help with plumbing connections related to HVAC units.
- Perform basic welding tasks as directed by senior technicians.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing routine inspections.
- Support boiler system maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Aid in appliance repair and general construction activities on job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies during daily operations.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience in HVAC, plumbing, welding, boiler systems, or appliance repair is preferred.
- Prior experience or familiarity with construction sites or maintenance work is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams is advantageous.
- Strong willingness to learn new skills related to HVAC systems and mechanical work.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
- Reliable transportation to job sites is necessary.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work well within a team environment.
- Prior mechanic experience or technical training in related fields is beneficial but not required.
Pay: $22.58-$53.43 per hour
