Role Responsibilities:
  • Implement new MDA’s, ensuring all pricing, fees, and rebates are setup. Setup and maintain chain level pricing for each group and determine when new chain setups are necessary. Notify accounting and other groups of new agreements and keep requisite internal customers notified.
  • Set up and maintain accurate customer pricing (bids, price exceptions, etc.) and contracts; ensuring information is correct and current. Roll bids each week/ month.
  • Ensure Sysco is contract compliant with all Independent sales agreements.
  • Ensure Customer Rebates are calculated and processed as per agreement.
  • Maintaining effective and timely communication with internal and external customers.
  • Work with purchasing, costing and logistics on contract compliance related issues; understand cost and all its components to ensure accurate customer pricing.
  • Clarify any discrepancies as they arise and adjust in a timely manner to avoid further issues.
  • Special projects as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education and/or minimum two years of work-related experience in an administrative or accounting role required.
  • Computer skills, including IDS (AS400).
  • Intermediate to expert proficiency in MS Office Suite applications.
  • Able to work efficiently in a team environment and work well with others.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational (multi-tasking and prioritizing) and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Food service/distribution experience would be an asset.
