Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Roofer/Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with roofing projects and general labor tasks on Institutional, industrial and commercial sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn new skills. Prior construction or handyman experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right individual. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable trade skills in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with roofing installation, repair, and maintenance using hand tools and power tools
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as membranes, buckets, tools, plywood, and other roofing components
- Use caulking and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs
- Support carpentry tasks related to framing, trim, or structural adjustments as needed
- Maintain safety standards by using proper protective equipment and following safety protocols
- Keep work areas clean and organized throughout each project
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Requirements
- Experience with hand tools, construction, carpentry, or handyman work preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices
- Willingness to learn new skills related to roofing and construction processes
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour
