We are currently restructuring our business and our model is becoming more integrated with technological elements being introduced. We are months away from the launch of a very powerful online solution that is migrating over 60% of our business to a digital platform. We have an immediate opening for an experienced Graphic Designer, ideally with knowledge of some wordpress and front end web design. This is a freelance contract position with the option to become permanent full-time.
The Role/Requirements:
We are looking for experienced graphic designers but are open to seeing the portfolios of junior designers as well. This role also includes design administrator duties such as managing accounts, company marketing materials, cloud database, and more. We are looking for candidates who are looking to grow with an established start-up and those who aren't looking to stay at the desk all day.
The ideal candidate has an established portfolio in the following areas:
- Logo and Brand Development
- Print/Campaign Design
- Large Format /Signage Design + Set up
- Website Graphic Design
Minimum Qualifications:
- Fluent in English
- Residing in Toronto
- A strong communicator both written and verbal
- Comfortable working with google professional tools
- Able to provide your own equipment (i.e. Working Laptop) (In office systems provided)
- Flexible to work according the business/client needs (Normally 10:00 - 6:00 P, sometimes later evenings etc.)
- Positive attitude with a hard work ethic
- Completed a Degree, Diploma or Certificate Program within the areas of Media Studies, Graphic Design, or Creative Advertising.
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience working on client based work either freelance or for an agency.
