Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Sous Chef/Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food handling, cooking, and presentation
- Assist in menu planning and development to maintain culinary standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills in food preparation and service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Collaborate with restaurant management to deliver an exceptional dining experience
- Serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, and hospitality in the kitchen
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry best practices
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Extensive restaurant management experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
- Hands-on experience with kitchen equipment and techniques
- Passion for serving high-quality cuisine and delivering excellent customer service
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly desirable
Pay: $19.50-$24.00 per hour
