Job Overview
We are seeking wellness centred individuals to join our team. Sauna hosts provide hospitality and customer service for our guests. Maintaining a peaceful spa setting for our guests is a top priority here. This position is best suited for responsible individuals who have excellent time management skills. This position is part-time and would be ideal for a student or someone with a Monday-Friday day job. The availability for shifts here is evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide information about the facility
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all sauna areas
- Assist guests with their needs, serving refreshments, answering questions about the facility, assisting in the guests' experience
- Answering phones/ calling & emailing customers
- Maintaining a wood stove & chopping wood
- Cleaning tubs, deck space, dishes & sandals
- Selling tickets & products through our POS system
- Opening &/or closing the sauna
- Performing an Aufguss Ritual each session
Skills
- Must have the ability to lift ice buckets & chop wood is
- Must have a valid Foodsafe Level 1 to be considered
- Excellent customer service skills, confidence & communication
- Responsible (this is a key holder position)
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality
- POS system experience
- Time management/ multi tasking
- Experience maintaining a wood stove is an asset
To be considered for this position you must have a valid Foodsafe Level 1 certificate, be physically capable of chopping wood and lifting a bucket of ice & have evening and weekend availability.
