Sargent Contracting LTD is seeking skilled and experienced Tile Setters to join our growing team! We require installers that are looking for full-time permanent employment. Sargent Contracting is a construction company that focuses mainly on tile flooring and stone work (Countertops/Slabs). We have sites located throughout the GTA, including downtown Toronto, Mississauga, Etobicoke etc.
Job requirements and responsibilities
- Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid “G” class licence
- Must be able to provide a clean driver abstract upon request
- Must be able to operate hand tools safely and effectively
- Must have a strong work ethic and “can do” mindset
- Must be able to work cooperatively and sportively in a team environment
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Prepare surfaces (leveling, cleaning, applying underlayment)
- Cut and install tiles (ceramic, porcelain, marble, etc.)
- Apply grout and sealants
- Repair and replace damaged tiles
- Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and pattern layout
- Maintain tools and ensure a clean, safe work environment
Experience
- 10 year minimum in the flooring industry
- Work in a fast-paced team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
