CAREGIVERS (Victoria/Sooke/Nanaimo)

Position: Caregiver
Employment: Part-time
Schedule for Victoria and Nanaimo: Flexible hours
Schedule for Sooke: Monday to Sunday, 7:45 AM to 9:45 AM, and 7:45 PM to 9:45 PM
Compensation: Rate between $25.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living, such as showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring.
- Assist with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living, such as planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, going out for walks, companionship, and emotional support.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.
Qualifications:
- HCA-experienced caregiver (certification is preferred, but not limited).
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
- Willingness to provide a Criminal Record Check and references.
- First Aid or CPR Level C.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Legally approved documentation to work in Canada.
- Valid BC driver’s license with a reliable vehicle.
