Bakery Production Workers – Packers, Mixers & Machine Operators

Pivotal Staffing Solutions is currently hiring dependable individuals for multiple bakery production positions at an established food manufacturing facility in Cambridge, Ontario.
This is a consistent on-call contract opportunity with ongoing work based on production requirements. Successful candidates will support various stages of the bakery manufacturing process, including production, packaging, machine operation, and sanitation.
Previous food manufacturing or production experience is an asset. Training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow workplace procedures.

Job Responsibilities
Depending on the position, your responsibilities may include:
- Assist with daily bakery and food production activities
- Prepare, weigh, measure, and handle ingredients
- Operate mixers, ovens, sheeters, and other production equipment
- Package, label, seal, and inspect finished products
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Follow recipes, production instructions, and established procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized production area
- Perform cleaning and sanitation duties as required
- Follow food safety, GMP, and workplace health and safety procedures
- Perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks
- Stand for extended periods during the shift
- Work with the production team to meet daily targets
- Report equipment, safety, or product quality concerns to the supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience in food production, bakery, manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse work is an asset
- 1 year of food production experience is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Comfortable performing repetitive and physically demanding duties
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work consistently on an on-call basis according to production needs
- CSA-approved steel-toe safety shoes are required
