Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Roofing Laborer to join our team. Duties
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings
- Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, and saws to perform various tasks
- Prepare work sites by cleaning and organizing materials and equipment
- Heavy lifting of roofing materials, shingles, and other supplies to ensure efficient workflow
- Perform caulking and sealing around roof penetrations to ensure waterproofing
- Support carpentry tasks related to framing or structural adjustments as needed
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe work environment
- Assist with general handyman duties around the job site as required
Requirements
- Previous construction or roofing experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with hand tools, carpentry, caulking, is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work in physically demanding conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior handyman experience or related skills are advantageous but not required
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods
