Attendant
The SconeWitch is a full-service catering and event planning company that provides a variety of culinary services to a variety of industries in Ottawa, ON. We are looking for an Attendant to provide food service to our Ottawa, ON based team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food for service and take orders from customers in a timely manner.
- Serve food items to customers according to order.
- Keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
- Assist with cleaning up after customers.
- Answer questions and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain inventory, prep orders, and keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.

Experience/Skills/Requirements
·Previous experience in food service or retail preferred but not required.
·Strong customer service skills with experience as an Attendant or similar role is preferred but not required.
·Ability to communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees, and clients is a must.

- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling of food and beverages
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or barista roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility for shifts during busy periods
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role
