We are currently looking to recruit a Construction Project Engineer to join our team for work in Edmonton, AB.
Job duties include:
- Plan and monitor construction project schedules, budgets, resources, and equipment.
- Liaise with client and other stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scopes, and objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend construction materials. Review and approve product datasheet and shop drawings for construction material.
- Prepare project technical submittals.
- Prepare construction procedures inline with client specifications.
- Perform quality assurance / quality control duties to ensure construction plan meets specifications, building codes and other regulations.
- Conduct constructability and economic analysis to identify construction issues/cost optimizations and resolve/implement in the form of Request for Information (RFI’s).
- Supervise construction work in the field.
- Review and evaluate tenders and draft contract documents.
- Ensure project communications are in line with company and client expectations and key performance indicators, including but not limited to: Health and safety matters, Quality reporting, Progress reporting, Change management, Project closeout;
- Perform concrete and steel take-offs, prepare and review cost estimates as needed.
- Being a key contributor to the development of Threeosix’s safe work culture by taking part and leading such discussions.
Required Knowledge, Experience, and Skill Set include:
- 1 - 2 years of relevant experience.
- A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or in a related engineering discipline is required.
- Engineers in Training will be considered.

Pay: $38.46 per hour
