Wavo’s Media Analyst team is a group of highly curious and driven young professionals responsible for providing campaign planning, reporting, strategy, and analytical services to work in conjunction with our Account Management team. The Media Analysts determine effective strategy and decision making around digital advertising for releases. Media Analysts provide media planning services including media goal projections, regular campaign reporting, and actionable campaign insights. The Media Analyst position is initially an entry-level role at Wavo, and media analysts will have the opportunity to grow in their roles and through the company, building skills around media strategy, analytics, and data science.
Develop industry experience and knowledge around market trends in emerging media and content development
Plan, report on, and evaluate media campaigns for some of the biggest releases in the music industry
Analyze data to provide situational analysis, optimize goal projections, devise ad platform strategy, determine optimal budget allocation, report on campaign goals, and provide finalized campaign results for major music releases
Communicate with clients to present media plans to clients for approval or modification and to report on campaign process and results
Ensure that media objectives, strategies, and executional guidelines are clearly communicated to Account Managers and Ad Operations Specialists
Understand and adapt to Wavo's ongoing product and technology developments
Be an effective team player with strong communication, presentation, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a thorough work approach
Strong interest in the music and entertainment space
Experience working with cross-functional teams and understand how to develop strong relationships internally and externally
Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively across multiple projects and teams
Degree or 1-2 years of experience in digital advertising, business administration, communications, statistics, or marketing
Google Adwords certification and/or Facebook Blueprint certification
