We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth for children.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment that respects diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Observe and assess children's progress regularly, documenting developmental milestones and communicating findings with families and team members.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists to meet individual requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incident reports, and other documentation in compliance with licensing standards.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Ensure the classroom adheres to health and safety regulations at all times, including proper sanitation practices.
Experience
- Proven experience working with young children in an early childhood education setting or similar environment.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Experience working with children who have disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are an asset to support diverse communities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members.
- Proficiency in computer operation for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to guide children through learning experiences while fostering independence.

Pay: $23.86-$26.86 per hour
