Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Local & Community Specialist (temporary, up to 8 months) on a temporary basis. We are open to individuals working from our Home Office in Saskatoon or one of our locations in Regina, Calgary, Edmonton, and Winnipeg.

What you’ll do:
You will be responsible for leading the development and execution of Local & Community projects and initiatives in line with the overall Customer Experience Strategy. You’ll be supporting local co-ops to better leverage their community support activities and enhance their position as a locally invested business.
Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Local & Community program playbook for local co-ops.
Develop and work in consultation with an advisory group of local co-ops that will provide insights into the direction, the outcomes and outputs of the project.
Lead the development and execution of Quick Learn pilot projects (i.e. Community Investment Software and Gift Card Fundraising program) that will inform overall CX program implementation across the CRS.
Select and implement a technical solution to streamline management of retail community giving programs.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Strategy & Communications and:
You have a post secondary degree. Training or certification in project management, public relations or community investment would be an asset.
You have a minimum of 6 years experience in project management, program development or community investment. Experience working within a local co-op would be considered an asset. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
You’re comfortable leading and facilitating meetings and workshops.
You’re familiar with the co-operative business model, particularly the co-operative retailing system.
You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you.
You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
