Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tire and Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tire replacements, oil changes, and basic vehicle maintenance to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Perform tire installations, rotations, balancing, and repairs with precision and efficiency
- Conduct oil changes and fluid top-offs according to manufacturer specifications
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and communicate findings to customers or supervisors
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete maintenance tasks
- Assist with vehicle maintenance and minor repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
- Promote additional sales of maintenance services and products when appropriate
Requirements
- Prior dealership or mechanic experience is preferred but not required; relevant mechanical knowledge is essential
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and automotive maintenance equipment safely
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication skills with a focus on customer service
- Basic understanding of automotive repair procedures and maintenance practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while adhering to safety standards
