Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Upsell related products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, sales transactions, and returns
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure the store is clean and inviting
- Provide knowledgeable assistance on technical sales, including basic troubleshooting and product recommendations
- Manage customer inquiries via phone or in person with professional phone etiquette
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising tasks
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a positive attitude
Experience
- Previous experience in tire retail sales or customer service
- Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling protocols
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment
- Ability to perform product demonstrations confidently and engage customers through effective communication techniques such as upselling and merchandising strategies
