Details: Part time, Days, 22.50 hours per week, 3-week rotating schedule
Schedule:
Week 1: 10AM to 6PM Friday, Tuesday; 9:30AM to 5:30PM Monday
Week 2: 10AM to 6PM Friday, Tuesday; 9:30AM to 5:30PM Saturday
Week 3: 10AM to 6PM Sunday, Monday; 9:30AM to 5:30PM Thursday
Pay Scale: $19.62 - $23.79 per hour
Location: McQueen Place Lodge, 10938-142 Street NW, Edmonton AB, T5N 2P8; Meadowlark Place Lodge, 8609 161 Street NW, Edmonton AB, T5R 5X9
Typical Duties: Food preparation, cooking, baking, portioning and labeling food, cleaning kitchen areas and equipment, dishwashing, preparing meals, beverages, sandwiches, salads and snacks, peeling and chopping vegetables, assisting with meal services and beverages, and other site-specific duties as assigned.
Experience/Education Preferences:
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal are required
- Experience in food preparation and baking is an asset
- Experience as a server in a dining room is preferred
Other Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills, including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner
- Ability to read and follow standard recipes and work in a sanitary manner
- Ability to demonstrate responsible judgement in problem solving
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
