About the Role
Our Accounting Department is looking for a Deal Clerk to join our team immediately.
This position plays a vital role in the dealership by ensuring every vehicle sale is processed accurately from start to finish. You'll work closely with our Sales, Finance and Accounting teams to verify deal documentation, maintain accurate records, and ensure transactions are completed efficiently.
We're looking for someone who enjoys organization, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in getting the details right.
What You'll Do
- Process and post new and pre-owned vehicle deals accurately and efficiently.
- Review deal jackets to ensure all required documentation has been received, completed and approved.
- Balance and reconcile vehicle deals before posting.
- Process manufacturer incentives, dealer trades, lien payouts and related accounting transactions.
- Maintain accurate vehicle inventory records.
- Assist with vehicle inventory reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding documentation and follow up with Sales and Finance as required.
- Work closely with Sales, Finance and Accounting to resolve discrepancies and ensure deals are funded promptly.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical deal files.
- Assist with month-end accounting procedures and reconciliations.
- Provide administrative support to the Accounting Department.
- Assist with reception coverage and other office duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous automotive dealership accounting or Deal Clerk experience.
- Experience using PBS Systems or another dealership management system.
- Accounting, bookkeeping or office administration experience.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and reconciliations.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
