Job Posting – Custodian
Job Status: Full time
WHO WE ARE
Broken Coast is a federally licensed cultivator and processor of cannabis under the Cannabis Regulations, located in Duncan, BC. We are pride ourselves on our quality product and personal service.
This role will be primarily responsible for the routine and general cleaning of the facility as well as production-related duties as time allows. The successful candidate for this position will have:
The ability to work quickly, efficiently, and reliably
Be a self starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
The ability to work at a repetitive task
The ability to follow protocol and fill out routine paperwork
A sense of urgency and the ability to respond to changing priorities as they arise
Various cleaning tasks, including use of a floor scrubber, wiping down equipment
Production room cleaning – walls, floors, tables, fans
Some ladder/stool work
Clean lunchroom and common areas
Handle recycling and garbage removal throughout the facility
Always follow safety standards and standard operating procedures
Maintain a positive attitude and work cooperatively with others
Must be physically able to be on your feet during your shift, while bending, stretching, walking and moving
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Previous experience working in a manufacturing or similar facility an asset, though on the job training will be provided.
