We are seeking a proactive, reliable, responsible Digital Marketing Specialist/Content Writer to join our Marketing family!
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for updating College website content. This includes Developing educational content in the College website, writing program pages and campaign landing pages, based on the intel provided by the product marketing team, planning engaging content, from creation to promotion, and measuring results – all to drive growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role manages the development and execution of lead generation campaigns through the production, management, and optimization of digital advertisements. The candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties and tasks including but not limited to:
- Understand and evaluate Create Career College’s corporate culture, programs, campuses, and target demographics
- Create effective and compelling content in College website to support the overall marketing plan
- Create and develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with keyword strategies
- Manage and update website content on a daily basis
- Optimize website content, including metadata, headings, and on-page elements, for improved search engine visibility
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Perform ongoing keyword research to identify content opportunities and in response to competitive dynamics and new product launches
- Performs other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education, including degree, diploma, or certificate in Digital Marketing or a related field
- Proven ability to generate creative ideas that attract attention on the web
- More than 2 years of experience in marketing, copywriting, content creation, or digital publishing, with a strong and varied portfolio.
- Proven great writing skills with an analytical mindset.
- Strong instincts around what makes a piece of web content thoughtful, engaging, and clear
- Experience with web Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
