Conservation Lands Staff – two positions (dependent on confirmation of funding)

– Assist with the ongoing maintenance and development of Conservation Areas – groundskeeping, painting, trail development, equipment operation, habitat management, and monitoring.

– Post-secondary education (park management, outdoor recreation, ecotourism)
– Physically fit, some heavy lifting
– Valid driver’s license within the Province of Ontario
– Experience with groundskeeping equipment preferred
– Experience painting considered an asset
– Experience with habitat restoration, management, and monitoring considered an asset
– To be eligible for these positions, applicants must be between the ages of fifteen (15) and thirty (30) at the time they are selected to participate in the Project; be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada; be legally entitled to work in Canada according to the applicable provincial/territorial legislation and regulations; have been registered as a full-time student in the previous academic year and intend to return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year.

– hourly rate: $14.00/hour
– hours of work: 40 hours/week
