Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to join its Meals on Wheels team on the Sunshine Coast. Apply today to join our team! As a Volunteer Coordinator with Meals on Wheels you will:
Implement and coordinate volunteer programs and activities in response to the priority health issues identified by the Coastal Community of Care.
Recruit and train volunteers and coordinate their deployment.
Act as a resource for staff who interact with volunteers and ensure compliance with organizational policies relevant to volunteers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience
Grade 12.
Volunteer Manager Courses/Program/Diploma.
Two years experience working with volunteer based programs or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
Knowledge & Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to deal with others effectively.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
Ability to supervise.
Ability to organize work.
Ability to operate related equipment.
