Position Summary:
This is a Permanent Full-time Dietary Aide position. The Dietary Aide is responsible for serving safe nutritious meals to Elders, Care Partners, Families, Volunteers, and Guests at Hillside Pines.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions without constant supervision.
- Physically able to perform assigned duties.
- Ability to work in a respectful, collaborative manner as a team member, with all care partners.
- Food Handlers Course or willingness to attend next available course. To be updated every 5 years.
- WHMIS certification or willingness to attend next available course: updated a minimum of every 3 years.
- An understanding of the Eden Alternative Philosophy and/or a willingness to learn about re: same.
- Is a Certified Eden Associate or willing to train as same
- Must be willing to participate on departmental, facility-wide committees i.e. Learning Circles, JOH&S, Liaison, Elder Care Conferences, Care Partner meetings as needed.

- 7:30AM-6:30PM
