Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Counter Attendant to join our team at Donair Dude, a beloved establishment in Downtown. As Food Counter Attendants, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food counter. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food service industry and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them with their orders
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitate work areas, including the kitchen and dining areas
- Prepare food items such as beverages, snacks, or meals
- Upsell additional items to customers to enhance their experience
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Manage time efficiently to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for handling transactions and inventory management
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
