Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Support meal preparation for large or special events as needed
- Serve food to customers efficiently and courteously
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality presentation of dishes
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within a restaurant or food service environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Strong skills in serving, meal preparation, and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
