Job Summary:
In close coordination with Site Supervisors, you manage diverse and exciting commercial, residential and industrial projects for our dynamic electrical company, all in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Your main responsibilities as a licensed Electrician at RZE:
- Responsible for installing, maintaining and trouble shooting electrical systems in commercial, residential and industrial facilities in accordance with current electrical code and customer specifications
- Oversee the work of contractors and provide work direction and training to other staff to ensure compliance to standards and specifications
- Attend site meetings as required and create comprehensive meeting reports
- Contact governing authorities to obtain permits, inspections, disconnects and reconnects (as directed)
- Prepare sketches and specifications, maintain accurate records, requisition materials, complete written reports by hand
- Receive daily work orders and organize work in order to complete in an expeditious manner, including determining the necessary materials and equipment.
- Demonstrate your commitment to safety in the workplace and maintain a clean work area at all times
- Anticipate issues before they occur and have a solutions-oriented approach
- Review the completed job with the customer, to ensure complete satisfaction
Who we are looking for:
- A valid License - 309A Electrician: Construction and Maintenance
- A minimum of 2 years experience working as a Licensed 309A Electrician
- Capability to read and interpret drawings and electrical code specifications
- Ability to multi-task a variety of different projects
- Excellent communications skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team
- Superior problem-solving skills, continuous improvement mindset driven by excellent analytical skills and deep technical knowledge
- Attitude of completing quality work in a safe manner
- A proactive, energetic and positive minded addition to our dedicated team
- Valid G driver’s License (required), WHIMS, Working at Heights and Mobile Elevating Work Platform Training Certificates (preferred)
