Aosom Canada Inc is an eCommerce company that specializes in home goods, and various other products. We are currently looking to fill the position of Warehouse workers as our pickers in our warehouse in Oshawa.
The Order Picker will be energized and is needed to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products. You will operate warehouse equipment to build and send appropriate orders.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick customer orders, parts orders, and RMA items from the correct warehouse locations, ensuring each location is left clean, organized, and inventory remains accurate.
- Verify all picked products for correct quantity, product ID, condition, and order accuracy before processing.
- Perform order checking, scanning, labeling, and wrapping according to company standards and customer requirements.
- Prepare products accurately for shipment or internal processing, including labeling, over-packing, palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and proper stacking.
- Handle returned products when required, including opening packages, inspecting product and packaging conditions, documenting issues, and re-packing items as needed.
- Ensure all products are free from damage prior to shipment and stage completed orders in designated shipping or processing areas.
- Perform accurate and timely put-away of inventory in accordance with company procedures and warehouse standards.
- Conduct routine inventory checks and assist with cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Document and promptly report discrepancies such as incorrect quantities, damaged products, misplaced inventory, or order issues to management.
- Apply all required labels, documentation, and shipping materials in accordance with customer, carrier, and company requirements.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections to ensure all orders are complete, accurate, and ready for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in other warehouse operations and support team members as required to ensure efficient daily operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as order picker
- Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallets jacks and other warehouse equipment
- Experience in RF devices
- Able to read and write in English
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive warehouse environment.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs, and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
- CSA approved safety shoes are must (Steel Toed)
- Attention to detail and good time management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
