Are you passionate about music education and inspiring students of all ages? Arcadia Academy of Music, an award-winning school known for excellence in teaching and student development, is seeking enthusiastic Independent Contract Piano Instructors to join our Burlington location.
We have immediate openings with a full, consistent student schedule available Monday through Friday.
About the Role
You’ll provide engaging, personalized piano lessons (30–60 minutes) to students ranging from beginner to intermediate levels, helping them develop technique, musicianship, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored private lessons based on each student’s goals and learning style
- Build musicianship skills (technique, sight-reading, ear training, theory)
- Select appropriate repertoire and prepare students for exams, performances, and festivals
- Track progress, provide feedback, and communicate with parents
- Foster motivation, consistency, and a positive learning environment
Requirements
- Ability to teach students ages 4+
- Minimum RCM Grade 7 (or equivalent)
- 2+ years teaching experience
- Music degree (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and passion for teaching
- Availability for in-person lessons in Burlington
