About Us
T-Brothers Food & Trading Ltd. is an established importer and distributor of Korean and Asian food products, serving customers across the Canadian food market.
We are looking for a motivated Account Manager to help grow our business with Canadian mainstream retail customers, including major national grocery retailers and other key accounts.
Role Overview
This is a customer-facing sales and account management role focused on expanding Korean and Asian food opportunities in the Canadian mainstream retail market.
This role supports one of the company’s highest-potential growth areas. The successful candidate will manage assigned retail accounts, follow up on product opportunities, support new listings and promotions, visit customer locations, and identify ways to grow sales through better assortment, presentation, and execution.
This role reports to the Global Markets Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support assigned mainstream retail accounts
- Build strong relationships with buyers, store managers, and customer contacts
- Follow up on product offers, pricing submissions, promotions, and new listing opportunities
- Identify Korean and Asian food products with strong mainstream retail potential and recommend suitable items for sourcing, listing, and customer presentation
- Visit customer locations and stores within Metro Vancouver
- Identify gaps in customer assortments and recommend suitable products
- Prepare sales presentations, pricing sheets, and promotional proposals
- Support product launches, customer samples, sell sheets, and follow-up communication
- Work with internal teams to coordinate pricing, samples, orders, and customer requests
- Monitor sales performance, order patterns, product movement, and promotional results
- Support growth with both existing accounts and new customer opportunities
Travel Expectations
This role requires regular customer and store visits within Metro Vancouver, with occasional travel within Canada as needed.
A company vehicle will be provided for business travel within Metro Vancouver.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or a related role
- Experience in food, grocery, retail, CPG, distribution, foodservice, or B2B sales preferred
- Strong communication, follow-up, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working with customers, buyers, store managers, and internal teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
Assets
- Experience working with grocery retailers, distributors, or foodservice customers
- Knowledge of Korean, Asian, or international food products
- Understanding of Canadian mainstream grocery channels
- Korean language proficiency is an asset, but not required
- Experience using Canva, Photoshop, or AI tools for sales support and presentations
