The team at StuTaught is comprised of talented Canadian university and high school students who have developed excellent skills and knowledge through prior tutoring and classroom experience.
This is not a full-time job, but simply a nice job to pick up on the side of all your other responsibilities.
We put our tutors first.
o We are all students, hence we understand the busy schedules.
o We are based upon the assumption that students are best suited at understanding other students with their academic questions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in person or online tutoring sessions that range from 1-2hours/sessions.
- Be ready when we contact you to take on a student to tutor.
- Provide consistent sessions for your student, or review sessions for one time clients.
- Review the students homework/notes before the session to be prepared to work through their notes during the session.
- If the students does not have many homework questions to work through, it is expected that our tutors bring some homework problems to gauge the students learning.
Requirements:
- A university or high school student (Education for Students by Students)
- Be able to identify the foundational knowledge gaps in your student, and work to fill those gaps in to provide true learning, not memorization.
- 90% or above grade on the subjects you wish to tutor.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour

- Would you be confident tutoring science courses (e.g., grade 9/10 science or grade 11/12 chem or grade 11/12physics or university courses..etc), and did you achieve a 90% average in that course?
- Would you be confident tutoring math courses (e.g.,grade 9/10math or functions/advanced functions or calculus, statistics or university courses..etc), and did you achieve a 90% average in that course?
