At Larga, we provide a home away from home for guests from the Northwest Territories and Nunavut who are in Edmonton for medical care. Our Referral Coordinators are vital to ensuring our guests feel informed, supported, and respected through every step of their medical journey.

What You'll Do
Coordinate guest accommodations and transportation to/from medical appointments, hospitals, and the airport
Communicate directly with health authorities in the NWT/Nunavut, ensuring referrals and documents are accurate and complete
Book interpreters, meals, medications, mobility equipment, and other guest needs
Work closely with dispatch, reception, kitchen, and housekeeping to maintain smooth guest experiences
Manage room assignments and update schedules across multiple departments
Support emergency room changes, medevacs, and other urgent matters with professionalism
Maintain up-to-date trip sheets, logs, guest records, and room charts
Communicate clearly with guests and their escorts regarding policies and travel details
Protect guest confidentiality and provide sensitive support when needed
Participate in on-call rotation to respond to after-hours needs (e.g., unexpected arrivals, urgent travel changes)
Provide back-up support to reception, including issuing keys and answering phones
Complete time sheets and attend staff and safety meetings
Follow all Larga Ltd. policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent (required)
1–2 years of experience in guest coordination, travel planning, or health administration
Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Calm and compassionate communicator—both in person and on the phone
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and able to learn internal systems
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
Able to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in emotionally challenging situations
Must pass an annual medical exam and Vulnerable Sector Check
Preferred (but not required):
Knowledge of Indigenous cultures or languages
WHMIS, First Aid/CPR, Emergency Response, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Fire Extinguisher Training
