These positions will be located in the Public Health Booking Offices at the Plaza 124. The Administrative Support IV - Immunization Booking Office responsibilities include but are not limited to: scheduling shifts while providing a high level of customer service, communicating with clinical and administrative support staff, data entry of rotations and availability calendars, modifying shifts, generating reports and compiling statistics, maintaining databases and other general office support duties as required. Attention to detail is crucial. You will need to adapt to frequent interruptions and shifting priorities as you ensure that employees are scheduled appropriately in accordance with AHS policies, procedures and collective agreement provisions. Shifts times will range from 7:30 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. and will be on a 12 week schedule alternating Days, Evenings, Weekends shifts Monday thru Sunday. Candidates must be available to work all shifts.
As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Two years recent experience working in an office environment is required. Previous staffing/scheduling clerk experience is required. Minimum one-year recent experience (within 3 years) working in a customer service role is required. Excellent written / oral communication skills are required. Effective interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and multi-tasking skills are required. Strong computer skills including proficiency with MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Access and Word] are required. Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail with high level of accuracy. Must be physically able to sit, stand and bend for long periods of time. Must be physically able to lift up to 30lbs. Must be able to perform repetitive motions on a keyboard for long periods of time.
Knowledge of TeleStaff and SharePoint is preferred. Experience within Public Health is an asset. Solid understanding of Collective Agreements (UNA/AUPE) is preferred. Must be self motivated and able to set priorities, balance workload and meet deadlines. Note: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a two part computer based skills assessment test.
