Note: This is a vacancy for a part-time casual Support position (up to 24 hours per week) starting starting September 8, 2026, and ending December 19, 2026. Hours may vary based on program requirements.

Why This Role Is Important
Reporting to the Program Manager , the part-time Placement Coordinator (SSO B) provides administrative and placement coordination support to the Office Administration Programs during the Fall term.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Maintains and updates SharePoint student, preceptor records, and the FOL work placement site
Supports placement processes within Synergy
Compiles student preference and placement-related data
Supports communication with students and placement hosts, including responding to inquiries, coordinating placement documentation such as Letters of Interest and Letters of Understanding
Assists with outreach to current and potential hosts
Supports related administrative processes such as training module coordination and documentation preparation
Assists with orientation, open house activities, and other placement-related initiatives as required
What You’ll Bring:
Minimum 2-year college diploma in administration or a related field; additional post-secondary education considered an asset
Experience with SharePoint, Synergy, and similar database systems
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional, student-focused environment
Experience in placement coordination, experiential learning, or customer service considered an asset
Knowledge of EMR programs (e.g., OscarPro, Accuro, Cerner) considered an asset
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Brightspace/D2L) considered an asset
Familiarity with third-party teaching platforms (e.g., Cengage, Student First Media, HLS) considered an asset
