Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in our restaurant dining room and washrooms. The ideal candidate will have prior custodial or cleaning experience and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
- Sanitize restrooms, dining room, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure consistent quality of service
Experience
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift light to moderate loads and stand for extended periods
