Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Travel Nurse to join our healthcare team. This position offers the opportunity to work in diverse clinical settings across various locations, providing essential patient care and support.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing with experience in multiple care environments, including hospitals, nursing homes, and home care. Flexibility, excellent clinical skills, and a passion for patient-centered care are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care across diverse settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments
- Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders
- Perform patient assessments and document findings using electronic health records systems like Epic and Cerner
- Assist with procedures including phlebotomy, pain management, and case management activities
- Support patients with dementia, pediatrics, senior care, hospice care, and other specialized needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge instructions
Experience
- Proven experience in nursing within hospital settings, nursing homes, or home health environments
- Familiarity with acute care, dementia care, pediatrics, hospice care, senior care, or assisted living is highly desirable
- Proficiency in medical terminology and medication administration
- Experience working with electronic health records systems such as Epic or Cerner is preferred
- Laboratory experience or familiarity with phlebotomy techniques is a plus
- Background in pain management or case management is advantageous
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to adapt to various clinical environments and patient needs

Pay: From $80.00 per hour
