Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and possess strong mechanical knowledge. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible performing routine maintenance services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Duties
- Perform oil changes and lubrication services on various vehicles.
- Inspect vehicles for any additional maintenance needs and recommend services to customers.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the service area and equipment.
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely service delivery.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks as necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with customers.
- Experience in a dealership environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during service tasks.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic sales skills are beneficial for recommending additional services to customers.
