Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced full-time Operations Supervisor for our London, Ontario location. This role is responsible for coordinating daily warehouse and office operations, ensuring best practices are followed and operational standards are maintained.
This position represents a strong career opportunity for someone familiar with transportation operations, equipment, service requirements, and applicable transport legislation.
Shift:
Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Assigning and distributing daily work to warehouse staff
- Coaching and supporting staff to improve productivity
- Ensuring proper staffing levels and training compliance
- Promoting a safe work environment in line with legislation and company policies
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and operational targets
- Working closely with customer service to ensure high service levels
- Supporting fleet operations as required
- Evaluating staff and operational performance
- Handling customer inquiries when needed
- Maintaining high service standards across all operations
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a logistics/warehouse/transport environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Computer literate (spreadsheets and email proficiency required)
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build effective working relationships
