We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes, and ensuring the safety of our grounds. Responsibilities
- Mow lawns, trim shrubs, and prune trees to maintain landscape appearance
- Operate small equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and hand tools for various tasks
- Assist with construction or renovation projects related to outdoor spaces
- Maintain safety standards during all operations and handle equipment responsibly
Skills
- Experience with landscape maintenance an asset
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating and repairing equipment such as mowers and trimmers
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining grounds effectively
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities
