Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented International Medical Graduate (IMG) to join our healthcare team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in medicine who are looking to expand their clinical experience within a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have prior medical office experience and familiarity with electronic medical records, along with a solid understanding of medical terminology. This position is essential in supporting patient care, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, documentation, and appointment scheduling
- Manage and update electronic medical records accurately and efficiently
- Prepare patient charts and ensure all necessary documentation is complete prior to consultations
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their appointments and follow-up procedures
- Support clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care delivery
Qualifications
- Medical office experience preferred, with a strong understanding of clinical workflows
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication and documentation
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally
- Prior experience working in a healthcare setting or as an IMG is advantageous
