It's All Good at Applewood! The Applewood Auto Group is looking to add a Full-Time Lot Attendant to our team at Applewood Mitsubishi Richmond
We are looking for outgoing, personable, physically active individuals to join our team to assist in greeting customers, organize the service lot along with other miscellaneous duties. The Role
- Managing inventory: The Lot Attendant is responsible for overseeing the inventory of vehicles on the lot, ensuring that the inventory is well-maintained and that vehicles are correctly displayed for sale and cleaned for delivery.
- Maintaining the lot: The Lot Attendant is responsible for ensuring that the lot is always clean, organized, and presentable. This includes ensuring that vehicles are parked in an orderly fashion and that they are correctly labelled with price and other relevant information.
- Vehicle Cleanliness Standards: The Lot Attendant will clean vehicles for delivery, show, and lot display to the Standard of Performance for each category (lot, show and delivery).
- Ensuring safety: The Lot Attendant is responsible for ensuring the lot is safe for customers and employees. This includes implementing safety procedures to prevent accidents, complying with local regulations, and training employees on safety practices.
- Coordinating with other departments: The Lot Attendant must work closely with other departments within the dealership, such as sales, service, and finance, to ensure that lot operations are aligned with overall dealership objectives and that vehicles are ready for customer test drives and deliveries
Schedule: Monday and Wednesday 10:30am-7pm, Tuesday and Friday 9am-7pm, Saturday 8:30-5:30pm
Measurables:
Vehicle Clean Score: This measures the cleanliness of the car based on its category (Delivery, Show, and Lot). This will be measured by spot checking and using the Vehicle Cleanliness Scorecard.
Customer satisfaction score (CSI): This measures customers' satisfaction with their experience when visiting the lot. This can be measured through surveys or feedback forms.
Lot Maintenance score: This measures the cleanliness and organization of the lot, including the condition of vehicles and the overall appearance of the lot. A high lot maintenance score indicates that the lot is well-maintained and presents a professional image to customers.
Employee performance metrics: This includes metrics such as attendance, punctuality, quality of work, and adherence to safety regulations. By tracking these metrics, the Lot Attendant can identify areas where employee performance can be improved and take steps to address them.
Safety Compliance score: This measures the dealership's compliance with safety regulations and guidelines. A high safety compliance score indicates that the dealership is taking the necessary steps to ensure the safety of both customers and employees.

Compensation:
The compensation for the Lot Attendant position at the Applewood Auto Group is $18.00 per hour.
