Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Florist to join our team. This entry-level role offers an opportunity to develop skills in floral design, customer service, and retail operations within a floral shop environment. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in floral design, houseplants, and horticulture, along with strong communication and organizational skills.
Duties
- Creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Support the display and merchandising of flowers and related products to attract customers.
- Handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with selections, answering questions, and offering floral care advice.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor, storage areas, and workstations.
- Contribute to e-commerce operations by updating online product listings and managing orders.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming shopping experience.
Experience
- Knowledge of floral design & plants is preferred.
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service.
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and merchandising is a plus.
- Organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
