We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support the operations of our facility. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in loading and unloading materials and products.
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning of work areas.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required.
- Support skilled tradespeople with tasks as needed, including construction, assembly, or repair work.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
- Locate and stage the proper plate for the current and future jobs
- Using the magnetic and vacuum cranes to move various sized plates
- Measure raw material and verify it is the correct material matching what’s labelled
- Complete first and last off inspections with proper documentation
- Remove/Deburr sharp edges from all parts using grinder and or scrapper
Requirements
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Basic knowledge of safety practices in a labor environment is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Skid, count, and label finished parts
- Assisting shipper with wrapping and banding finished goods
- Load and unload machines with raw material and finished goods
