Description:
This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of water resources, municipal infrastructure, drainage, irrigation, and dam-related projects across Alberta and Western Canada.
The successful candidate will contribute to project planning, design, construction services, and client support while working with a team of experienced engineers, technologists, and project managers.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

Registration with APEGA as an Engineer (P.Eng.).

Approximately 3–7 years of relevant engineering experience.

Experience in the planning, design, and construction of municipal, water resources, or civil infrastructure projects.

Experience with hydrology, hydraulic analysis, and hydrotechnical assessments.

Experience with the use of hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS is desirable.

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities:

Participate in the planning, analysis, and design of water resources and civil infrastructure projects.

Prepare technical reports, engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Support project managers in delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Conduct site inspections, construction reviews, and construction administration activities.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technologists.

Assist with project management, budgeting, scheduling, and client relationship development.

Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Water Resources group.
