Western Forest Products is seeking a fully qualified Excavator Operator with experience preferably in BC Coastal logging, to join our Nookta Forest Operations in Gold River, B.C.
This is an hourly United Steel Worker (USW) union position with a rate of $36.16 This site runs a continual shift and currently on a 5x2 shift (5 days on, 2 days off).
Who You Are:
About Gold River, BC:
- Fully competent excavator operator with a minimum of 5 years’ experience of coastal roadbuilding, including endhaul construction, culvert and bridge installations.
- Have valid class 5 or better BC Driver’s License
- Level 1 First Aid with Transportation Endorsement Ticket or higher
- Excellent safety record and strong work ethic
- Highly motivated team player with excellent time management skills
- Accountable and dependable
