<strong>Summary</strong>
We are seeking a <strong>Shop Foreman</strong> located in the Edmonton area to lead our team in delivering exceptional steel construction projects. This role is vital in ensuring that operations align with our commitment to quality, safety, and timely project completion.
<strong>Responsibilities</strong>
- Oversee daily operations of the shop and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage project schedules and coordinate with team members for efficient workflow.
- Supervise staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the fabrication process.
- This includes qc check after fit up, post weld check, and post painting check.
- Collaborate with shop super and daytime foreman's.
- Maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and equipment usage.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for staff.
- <strong>Qualifications</strong>
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of and safety standards and practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in a construction environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
- 4-10's M-TR 16:30-3:00.
- OT after 44
- $2.00/hr night shift premium

Experience:
- Shop foreman: 2 years (preferred)
- Overhead crane : 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Journeyamn Welder (preferred)
- Journeyman Fitter (preferred)
- First Aid (preferred)
- CWB FCAW/MCAW (preferred)
