We are seeking a female detail-oriented and reliable Sewing Machine Operator or seamstress/tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating sewing machines to alter high-quality garments and textile products. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast paced environment where precision and efficiency are essential. Prior experience is needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble, repair, or alter garments according to specifications.
- Monitor machine operation for quality control, making adjustments as needed to ensure consistent output.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
- Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines to prevent malfunctions and prolong equipment lifespan.
- Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with sewing machine operation is preferred ; some training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new skills.
Basic understanding of safety procedures related to machinery operation is beneficial.
