We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy treatments tailored to individual client needs, including therapeutic, relaxation, and rehabilitative techniques
- Conduct client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and document progress accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices to enhance their overall health outcomes
- Schedule appointments efficiently and manage client records with confidentiality and professionalism
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring a positive experience during each visit
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health conditions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment procedures and listening attentively to client concerns
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific protocols as needed
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in all interactions
Pay: $65.00-$70.00 per hour
