Position: Team Lead- Group Homes

Hours: Monday – Friday (40 hrs per wk)

Overall Objective:

Provide supervision and support to Disability Support Workers in Residential and Community Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of staff shift schedules
  • Performance Reviews with staff in consultation with RSC
  • Supervise staff and ensure coverage for all shifts
  • Ensure Programs are following CET Standards & Salvation Army policies
  • Review/approve all required documentation submitted by staff
  • Assist Residential Services Coordinator and ER Coordinator with recruitment
  • Mentor and orient new staff, provide leadership to existing staff
  • Ensure staff training is current
  • Assist in developing and presentation of group home team meetings
  • Be a part of the ‘On Call’ rotation
  • Attend monthly meeting with RSC and START management meetingsQualifications:
  • Relevant certificate/Diploma in Human Services and/or experience working with persons with developmental disabilities*
  • CPR/First Aid**
  • Supervisory experience required**
  • Must possess a vehicle, valid driver’s license, abstract and vehicle insurance
